The most beautiful journey is possibly the one that is least expected. For me, it is this passion for flower preservation that I found as I was planning for my wedding.

For someone who pays so much attention to little details, I double checked (also triple-checked) a lot of things for my wedding to make sure that they’ll turn out perfect. However, when it came to the amount of investment that we spent on our flowers, I was unable to justify how we wouldn’t be able to keep them and all the blooms will go to waste.

Can you guess what happened next? I started doing research about floral preservation and could not stop myself from wanting to know more. I was captivated!

After that, I spent countless of hours learning how to preserve flowers, how to cast them and how to make sure they turn out looking their best. My very first (and proud) creations were for my family members and I just wanted to use my skills to create beautiful pieces for my loved ones.

Later in the year, I decided to turn my passion into a business, and that’s how The Bloom Lab By Rachel was born.

My mission is to create beautiful floral pieces with you to ensure that the flowers that carry precious memories can be treasured for many years to come. I hope my creations will bring you joy, just the same way they do to me.
